Actual screen-used Mk II Hand Ejector revolver from Raiders of the Lost Ark, as shown from "The Complete Making of Indiana Jones: The Definitive Story Behind All Four Films" by J.W. Rinzler, p. 78. Note the ramped front sight on this revolver, not dissimilar from the ramped front sights found on more contemporary S&W revolvers.

Discussion

Excellent work

- Nice job on the page, Jcordell. I just edited in a blurb in the 2nd model section linking to the M1917 revolver, other than that, this is a very nice page, man. Very good. StanTheMan 16:53, 14 October 2010 (UTC)

Thank you. I felt like we needed a general overall page to cover the 44 S&W revolver and show how many other Smiths branch off from it. --Jcordell 18:35, 14 October 2010 (UTC)

Thanks JCordell, but IMFDB protocol says that you don't fill the page with blank media sections. If the gun has not appeared in anything yet, you don't list film, television, anime and videogames as sections. You leave it blank.  :) MoviePropMaster2008

You're right. I forgot that. Fifty lashes with a wet noodle. --Jcordell 19:11, 14 October 2010 (UTC)

"Smith & Wesson Mk II Hand Ejector" page

There is a page called the Smith & Wesson Mk II Hand Ejector, is this actually a different variant made for the British or is it just a 2nd Model chambered in .455? Either way, is there any difference between the two? If not I think the pages should be merged. --commando552 (talk) 06:53, 9 September 2013 (EDT)
