Jupiter's Thigh (original title On a volé la cuisse de Jupiter ("Stolen thigh of Jupiter")) is a 1980 French adventure comedy directed by Philippe de Broca, a sequel to Tendre poulet. Lise Lemercier, nee Tanquerelle (Annie Girardot) together with her husband Antoine (Philippe Noiret) make a voyage to Greece where they become involved in a case of theft of a fragment of ancient statue.

Röhm RG 79

A snub nose revolver that appears to be a gas-firing Röhm RG 79 is a personal firearm of Greece police comissioneer Andre Spiratos (Marc Dudicourt). In one scene Antoine Lemercier (Philippe Noiret) disarms his. Later the revolver switches to another one that appears to be a Smith & Wesson Model 36.

Smith & Wesson Model 36

In a continuity error the Spiratos' revolver switches to a Smith & Wesson Model 36 when it is seen in hands of Antoine Lemercier (Philippe Noiret), Lise Lemercier (Annie Girardot), Charles-Hubert Pochet (Francis Perrin) and his wife Agnès (Catherine Alric).
