Dear Inspector (original title Tendre poulet) is a 1978 French detective movie directed by Philippe de Broca. Police commissioner Lise Tanquerelle (Annie Girardot) investigates a series of murders of politicians. Meanwhile she meets her old friend Antoine Lemercier (Philippe Noiret), and both try to make their personal life. In 1980 the movie was followed by the sequel Jupiter's Thigh (On a volé la cuisse de Jupiter).
