Family Happiness (Semeynoe schastye)

Family Happiness Semeynoe schastye ) is a 1969 Soviet comedy movie based on several short stories by Anton Chekhov. It depicts various tragicomical situations in life of several families in late 19th century Russia.

Handguns Nagant M1895 Revolver A bright, presumably nickel plated Nagant M1895 revolver is held by Ivan Shupaltsev (Nikolay Burlyaev ) as he contemplates suicide. Another bright Nagant revolver (it must be the same movie prop) is seen in the gun store when Fyodor Sigayev (Andrey Mironov ) decides to purchase a gun.

It seems be the same weapon that appears in other Mosfilm productions, like Shvedskaya spichka Zemlya Sannikova Zhestokiy romans
