Glad this aired on Canadian television. This would piss off American gunowners and would have created a real firestorm of controversy. I'm willing to bet it pissed off Canadian gunowners as well. The mini-series appears to follow the formula established by the German/British mini-series Traffik later remade as Traffic by Hollywood. - "Guns" wasn't actually that controversial in Canada because it referenced incidents that did happen in Toronto, and it dealt with facts that were known to most Canadians (such as how most illegal weapons are either smuggled from the US or stolen from a licensed gun owner's home). Still, the way the U.S is portrayed would probably annoy American gunowners. --Markit 16:37, 1 February 2011 (UTC)
