Where Were You, Odysseus? (Gde ty byl, Odissey?) is a Soviet 1978 three-part made for TV war movie directed by Timur Zoloyev and based on the novel by Aleksey Azarov. In 1944 "Odysseus" (Donatas Banionis), a Soviet intelligence agent, operates in Nazi occupied Paris under the name of Frenchman Auguste Petitjean. He is accidentally arrested by Gestapo and taken for a British agent. German high rank officials plan to use "Odysseus" as a contact to Allies intelligence services.
