Unfinished Supper (original Russian title Nezakonchennyy uzhin, Latvian title Nepabeigtas vakarinas) is a Soviet Latvian 1981 (filmed 1979) made for TV detective movie, directed by Janis Streics and based on the Swedish novel "Polis, polis, potatismos!" (English title "Murder at the Savoy") by Per Wahloo and Maj Sjowall. Viktor Palmgren, a director of large company, is shot in front of a dozen witnesses in restaurant. The murderer confesses and is arrested, but further investigation leads Commissioner Martin Beck to Palmgren's shadow business in illegal arms trade.
