Revolvers
Smith & Wesson Model 36 Chief's Special
Smith & Wesson Model 36 Chief's Special is the sidearm of the plainclothes officers serving in the Royal Hong Kong Police Force (RHKPF). It can be seen in the hands of Insp. Fong Chun-Yau (Jacky Cheung), Insp. Ho Siu-Ling(a.k.a. Shirley, Carol 'Do Do' Cheng), Insp. Michael Wong Simon Yam), Terry (Donnie Yen), Uncle Tai (Man Tat Ng), Pheasant (Jing Chen) and Sau (Ka-Yan Leung). One can be seen in the hands of Swatow Hung (Lung Wei Wang). A worthy note is that S&W Model 36 revolver is a common substitute for the Colt Detective Special, the real sidearm carried by the RHKPF criminal investigation officers, in the action films filmed in Hong Kong.
