The Punisher (Russian title: Каратель, Karatel) is a 1969 (filmed 1968) Soviet movie. The action takes place in Greece after the 1967 military coup. Soldier Vangelis gets a layoff out of turn. But this day, received for participating in the execution of a communist member, he does not know where to go. Fleeing a patrol after a street fight, Vangelis takes refuge with his girlfriend.
