The Walther PPK is used by KCIA Director Kim Jae-kyu (Yoon-Sik Baek) when he first tries to kill President Park Chung-hee. As depicted, the pistol did jam at one point before the president was fatally killed.

The Smith & Wesson Model 36 is used by KCIA agents, incluing Agent Min (Eung-soo Kim), recruited by Agent Ju to assassinate President Park and his PSS detail. The revolver was actually used by the KCIA when the president was assassinated.
