The Pacing Mustang (Mustang-inokhodets) is a Soviet 1976 (filmed 1975) adventure family movie, directed by Igor Negrescu and based on the story by Ernest Thompson Seton. A black pacing mustang lives in prairies of New Mexico. It is highly prized, and local men relentlessly hunt for the horse. But when at last they manage to capture the mustang, it prefers death to captivity.

Charley (Georgi Dvornikov), James Foster (Stasis Petronaitis) and Wild Jo (Mikhail Golubovich) carry Colt-pattern revolvers in holsters. Judging by the grips, and the length and shape of the barrel, it's a "Cavalry" model Single Action Army. It appears to be a single prop that is reused in several scenes. In action scenes this revolver then switches to Nagant M1895 (see below).
Fred Montgomery (Pavel Klyonov) carries a revolver in holster. Its grip resembles some models of Smith & Wesson but the exact model cannot be identified. In action scenes this revolver then switches to Nagant M1895 (see below).
In one scene Thom "Turkeytrack" (Aleksey Chernov) carried the Rast-Gasser M1898. This revolver is also seen in hands of Wild Jo (Mikhail Golubovich). In action scenes this revolver then switches to Nagant M1895 (see below).
All main characters' revolvers in the movie - Wild Jo Calone (Mikhail Golubovich), Thomas "Turkeytrack" Bates (Aleksey Chernov), James Foster (Stasis Petronaitis), Fred Montgomery (Pavel Klyonov) and Charley (Georgi Dvornikov) - switches to Nagant M1895 revolvers in combat scenes, evidently due to wide availability of blank ammo for Nagant revolvers.
