The Intervention Interventsiya ) is a 1969 Soviet adventure tragicomedy movie directed by Gennadi Poloka . The story is set during the Russian Civil war in the city of Odessa which is under the control of White Army and French troops. The main character of the movie is a Red revolutionary Eugeni Brodsky (Vladimir Vysotskiy ) who agitates French soldiers to support the Russian revolution. The story is partially based on real events of the rebellion of French sailors in Russia in 1919.

Pocket Smith & Wesson Revolver In the scene of the robbery of Xidias' bank several robbers carry compact Smith & Wesson revolvers. These revolvers can be Smith & Wesson 4th Model but they are never seen clear enough to be identified for sure.

This is aircraft variant, modified as an infantry version.

The shadow reveals the shape of "spade" grip instead of wooden buttstock. The magazine is a standard 47-round version, not a 97-round, issued for aircraft model. Trivia 100mm B-34 guns are secondary artillery of Soviet cruiser Slava (Project 26-bis) that appeares as a French ship of WW1 era. Slava (originally named Molotov ) was the only ship of this class that was still in active service in late 1960s.
