The Translator Perevodchik ) is a Russian 2014 (filmed 2013) war drama mini series. The plot is set in a Nazi occupied Soviet town of Taganrog. The local school teacher Starikov (Vitaliy Khaev ) has to serve as a translator for the German Sicherheitsdienst (SD) to save himself and his family.
