Here's a link to a video of "skeet surfing" if anyone's interested. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-jqEj1Hvnc --redram355 22:09, 13 February 2010 (UTC)

I always thought Nigel's gun was an SAA. I haven't seen it in awhile though. --Funkychinaman 23:36, 30 March 2010 (UTC)

I watched this movie a few weeks ago, and I'm a little hung up on something. Were the Soviets (East Germans) all given Nazi WWII weapons out of ignorance, or were East German soldiers really issued Nazi weapons (i.e. P38, Kahr98k, MP40, etc.) in the 50s? MrOshimida27 21:58, 15 March 2011 (CDT)

Maybe the East Germans did use leftover German WWII weapons for a few years immediately after the war, but I'm sure the writers just wanted to make a WWII movie (Or an Elvis movie with Nazis.) Why else would there be French resistance fighters in East Germany? --Funkychinaman 00:40, 16 March 2011 (CDT)
It's a comedy, without any pretensions of historical accuracy. Any expectations to the contrary should have been destroyed upon seeing the Ford Pinto or hearing the line about escaping America via balloon during the Carter administration. And yes, the East Germans did use Nazi weapons and gear for a while after the war.--Mr-Jigsaw 00:45, 16 March 2011 (CDT)
