Talk:Tango & Cash

His sight "shifted", which can happen with fixed sights. You install fixed sights into a grove in the slide. It's a very tight fit, and not all guns pin the fixed sights into place, so it is very possible the rear sight or the front sight was shifted right or left a little, and was not flush with the slide. - James3

Interesting how Tango's primary weapon is an S&W 36 while his backup is a Detonics Scoremaster. It would make so much more since if it were the other way around. -Gunman69 04:41, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, I don't understand it, either. I mean, sure the .38 Special is a longer round, but that won't matter much, especially since he's using a snub-nosed revolver, and the .45 is a much wider round, giving it more stopping power. Really, Tango's choice of weapons makes no sense. Acora 01:08, 13 June 2010 (UTC)

Isn't it possible that Tango might not wanna kill with his guns? Taking someone dead isn't as good as taking them alive, so he might you the Detonics as an emergency backup, while the S&W 36 makes his normal shots. Dannysaysnoo 23:58, 10 July 2010

I think, perhaps, it is more likely that since he is often undercover, his S&W 36 is his 'quick draw' gun and the larger, more powerful .45 Scoremaster is his deep concealment backup gun.

It isn't a big deal if they aren't I.D.ed, they're pretty hard to see.

Allan Graf?

Two guards with MP5A5s. It's difficult to see, but these weapons have 4-positions selectors, thus making them A5s.

He's not listed on IMDB as appearing in T&A or on his resume. But it damn sure looks like him.--Predator20 19:12, 24 March 2011 (CDT)

Question

Anyone know why Tango empties his revolver at the start of the film? I mean, at a glance it seems like the bullets were still part of the cartridge meaning they were unused rounds (i.e. they weren't shell casings). It's not as if they've indicated that he's discharged his firearm at any point. GunEnthusiast (talk) 20:14, 4 January 2013 (EST)

It was a homage to Jackie Chan in his movie, Police Story. Sly was a fan of Jackie Chan and that was one of the reasons why he did that, or so I've heard. Codemaster94 (talk) 23:46, 8 April 2013
