Be careful. No MANGA is allowed on IMFDB. Only ANIME movies or television shows. Be sure to only list or document the ANIME and NOT the manga. All manga materials will be deleted if uploaded. Thanks. MoviePropMaster2008 20:50, 21 February 2010 (UTC)

Since this is an anime adaption, be sure just the anime caps Excalibur01 04:21, 22 February 2010 (UTC)

This page is a mess

The creator should decide which one he intends to outline. You can't mash together the TV series and the two Anime Features onto one page. Each one should have it's own page. MoviePropMaster2008 05:15, 22 February 2010 (UTC)

Paragraph on the Manga

It looks suspiciously like a "Cut And Paste" in that it has footnote links to sources that don't exist. This entire paragraph needs to be re-written so that it is not plaigarism (the number 3 rule on the Rules page).

Update

The entire beginning paragraphs were lifted directly from WIKIPEDIA and have since been REMOVED. Plagiarism is not tolerated on IMFDB. If anyone wants to write a coherent introductory summary of the Golgo 13 series and in particular THIS entry, please do so. MoviePropMaster2008 21:00, 23 February 2010 (UTC)

Expect more M16 screenshots

In the recent anime adaption, Golgo 13 carries a customized M16A2 with a 30-round magazine and scope for sniper work, possibly all-purpose. Hopefully we'll see more screenshots of his iconic weapon.

Unidentified M1911 variant-identified?

From a comparison of the vidcap of the female detective shooting the M1911 pistol to the photos in the M1911 series, I feel that the pistol in question is either a Kimber Custom TLE II or a Colt XSE. Does anyone concur? Newshawk 19:00, 4 July 2010 (UTC)

Remington 700

It looks more like a M40 due to the iron sight, but I´m not sure. Markost 01:27, 5 July 2010 (UTC)

XM29

The XM29 shown in the screencaps is based off an early mock-up of what the Army wanted the finished "M29" to look like in terms of weight and dimensions [1]. That should be pointed out due to the OICW featured in the anime looking so drastically different from the one in the example pic. Spartan198 23:05, 5 July 2010 (UTC)

Anschutz

The rifle used by Golgo 13 to kill the airplane hijacker in (as I recall) the first episode is not a .22 caliber rifle. The gunsmith specifically (and gratuitously) describes the rifle as being Swiss made and chambered for .308 (along with a bunch of data about its range, projectile speed, etc.) - and that's before the assassin has him rechamber it for a larger round and fit it with an extra-long barrel. There's even a shot of Dave boring out the chamber, attempting to load a large rifle round which doesn't fit, then going back to grinding. The resulting weapon is heavy but Golgo 13 uses it to land a 2km (1.24mi) headshot from a standing position, through the cockpit glass of the jet. Atypicaloracle 16:20, 26 June 2012 (CDT)
