"Revolver" isn't a correct term for Green's handgun. Such weapons with a block of barrels are known as "pepperbox". I guess that the screen gun is a Denix non-firing replica (or possibly some other manufacturer) while the muzzle flash is CGI effect. Also I'm unsure about Pennsylvania Rifle as the screen gun has a different stock and nothing can prove that it has rifled barrel. I guess it to be an ordinary hunting musket, probably a modern replica. Greg-Z (talk) 02:03, 16 December 2016 (EST)

Sequel

Isn´t this the movie that just got its sequel to star Schwarzenegger and Jackie Chan? Oh, and is this particular movie in Russian or in English? I doubt Flemyng is fluent in Russian... Oh, and is this any good? --Warejaws (talk) 09:03, 16 December 2016 (EST)

Yes, the sequel is planned for 2017. Even more, one more sequel is planned, set in India. This movie is in Russian, Flemyng was dubbed by Russian voice actor Vasily Dakhnenko. Don't know if there is a release with English sounding but possibly it exists as the movie was international co-production. About how good it was... on my opinion, the film tend to be a generic fantasy horror, lacking the flavour of original Gogol's novel. Greg-Z (talk) 10:56, 16 December 2016 (EST)
About languages: All British characters speak in English, while all another characters as well, as narrator speak in Russian (with an Ukrainian accent). About how good it was, this film - this is film is too long times (more than two hours), and contain various stereotypes, but the second part and film climax are rather interesting, and special effects and fight scenes are seen cool. 6.5 of 10 is my estimation. And, also this film has a very few of original Gogol's novel. Also, I agree with Greg-Z: this film significantly inferior the original Gogol's novel.
