Ken Takakura (1931-2014) as Inspector Masahiro with a Heckler & Koch P7M8 in Black Rain (1989).

Ken Takakura (sometimes credited as Takakura Ken) was a huge star in Japan and often was referred to as the "Clint Eastwood of the East". He became famous for his roles in the Yakuza movie genre just as Eastwood did with Westerns and Cop movies. In addition to acting in over 156 films, he also was an accomplished swordsman and was skilled in other martial arts as well. To Western audiences, he was probably best known for his roles in four Hollywood productions: The Yakuza, Black Rain, Too Late the Hero, and Mr. Baseball. He passed away from lymphoma on November 10, 2014, at the age of 83.
