Sterling Arms Model 400 is a compact semi automatic pistol usually chambered for the .380 ACP cartridge. While majority of 400's were blued, it was available in stainless steel, though it's a rather rare version. The original gun was not labeled the Model 400 Mark I when it was introduced, but has been retconned into that name since the release of Mark II (also known as Sterling Mark II Auto). It addressed some of the complaints users and critics had of the first gun, especially in size (it was slimmed from 1.3 to 1.1″ in the grip) and this one was primarily sold in stainless steel, this time making a blued version more rare.
