Split is a 2017 horror thriller directed by M. Night Shyamalan and starring James McAvoy as Kevin Wendell Crumb, a man suffering from dissociative identity disorder who kidnaps four women against their will. The women then decide to appeal to one of Crumb's personalities in order to escape. James McAvoy would return as Crumb in 2017's Glass.

Casey Cooke (Anya Taylor-Joy) is seen using a Remington 870 shotgun during a confrontation with one of the personalities of Kevin Wendell Crumb (James McAvoy), A similar shotgun is used by Casey's father (Sebastian Arcelus) during a flashback.
