Operation Trust (Operatsiya "Trest") is a Soviet 1967 adventure 4-part mini series directed by Sergey Kolosov. The story, based on real events, depicts the counterintelligence Operation "Trust", implemented by the Soviet OGPU in 1921-26 against the anti-Soviet organisation under the leadership of general Aleksandr Kutepov. The ultimate success of the operation was the arrest of British secret agent Sidney George Reilly who was lured in Soviet Russia.

Nagant M1895

Nagant M1895 revolvers are widely seen throughout the series. All Nagants in the movie are of anachronistic post-1930 version.

Smith & Wesson .44 Double Action

During the robbery of the State Bank in Moscow Staff Capt. Georgiy Radkevich (Anatoli Adoskin) is armed with Smith & Wesson .44 Double Action revolver. Possibly it's the same nickel plated revolver, seen in several Mosfilm productions.

The revolver seems to be bright enough for nickel plated but it's not for sure.

Pistols

Mauser C96 M1930

Mauser C96 M1930 pistols are widely used by OGPU personnel, including Artur Artuzov (Armen Dzhigarkhanyan), and by numerous conspirators, notably Rotmistr (Capt.) Maria Zakharchenko (Lyudmila Kasatkina), Staff Capt. Eduard Staunitz (Donatas Banionis), Col. Zhukovskiy (Viktor Shulgin), and Poruchik (Lt.) Voznesenskiy (Anatoly Katsynsky). These C96s have stepped barrels and belong to M1930 model that is out of time for 1920s.

Astra 300

Maria Zakharchenko (Lyudmila Kasatkina) uses the Astra 300 pistol during the robbery of State Bank in Moscow. Aleksandr Yakushev (Igor Gorbachyov) carries two Astra pistols that are gifts to him and Gen. Potapov from Second Department of Polish General Staff (intelligence and counterintelligence service). Later, in the scene in Paris, Gen. Kutepov (Grigoriy Gai) holds Yakushev's pistol.

Mauser Rifles

In the documentary footage of the funeral in Warsaw in June 1927 Polish soldiers march with Mauser rifles with attached bayonets. These rifles are most likely Karabinek Wz. 1898 (Polish version of Mauser 98AZ), as it was main Polish service rifle before Wz.29 was adopted.

A rifle with bayonet that best matches French Mle 1892 Berthier Carbine bayonet is seen in the same documentary footage. It was issued for Mle 1890 Cavalry Carbine, Mle 1892 Artillery Carbine and Mle 1916 Carbine.
