Operation Corned Beef L'opération Corned Beef ) is a French 1991 action comedy directed by Jean-Marie Poiré. Capt. Boulier aka "Shark" (Jean Reno ), a French intelligence (DGSE) officer, conducts an operation against Zargas, an illegal arms dealer from South America who is connected with some person in highest ranks of French officials. DGSE sets a covert listening device in a jewellery of Marie-Laurence Granianski, a secretary of a German consul Burger who is a contact to Zargas. When Marie-Laurence announces that she plans a vacation with her husband just in time of the negotiations of Burger and Zargas, the intelligence service tries to break these plans by provoking an adulter of Marie-Laurence's husband Jean-Jacques Granianski with beautiful Isabelle Fourreau who is a Lieutenant of DGSE and - to make things even more complicated - Boulier's bride (and Boulier is overjealous!).
