New Adventures of Nero Wolfe and Archie Goodwin ((Noviye priklucheniya Nero Wolfa i Archie Goodwina)) is a 2004 Russian detective TV series, adapted from the works by Rex Stout about the famous private detective Nero Wolfe and starring Donatas Banionis as Nero Wolfe and Sergey Zhigunov as his assistant Archie Goodwin. The series consists of four two-part, feature length episodes, based on the novels and short stories "Black Orchids" (Ep.1 "Podarok dlya Lily"), "The Black Mountain" (Ep.2 "Poslednyaya volya Marko"), "Too Many Women" (Ep.3 "Slishkom mnogo zhenshin"), and "The Red Box" (Ep.4 "Tayna krasnoy shkatulki").
The series is the second installment in the screen adaptations of Rex Stout's works, following Nero Wolfe and Archie Goodwin (2002).
The following weapons were used in the television series New Adventures of Nero Wolfe and Archie Goodwin (Noviye priklucheniya Nero Wolfa i Archie Goodwina):
Inspector Cramer (Sergei Parshin) uses a Nagant M1895 revolver in Eps.1 and 2. A Nagant revolver is also the murder weapon in Ep.1. In Ep.2 Nagants are seen in hands of Dan Nedich (Yuriy Lazarev) and Johnnie Luchiano (Andrei Chumanov).
In Ep.2 one of the Yugoslav soldiers carries a Mosin Nagant M1938 Carbine. Unlike the original novel that is set in 1950s in Tito's Yugoslavia, the episode is set in 1930s in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, when the M38 Carbine is an anachronistic gun.
Another Yugoslav soldier in Ep.2 carries a Mosin Nagant/Frolov Shotgun. Most likely same gun is seen in hands of Dan Nedich (Yuriy Lazarev) in same episode. This shotgun is likely used as a stand-in for a hunting rifle.
