Miracle at St. Anna is a 2008 World War II film directed by Spike Lee. In 1944, four black US soldiers from the segregated 92nd Infantry Division are cut off from their company during a failed attack on a German position in the Italian Campaign. The soldiers take refuge in a small Tuscan village, bringing along with them a traumatized young boy who, unknown to them, is the sole survivor of the Sant'Anna di Stazzema massacre, where hundreds of Italian civilians were killed by Waffen-SS panzergrenadiers as retribution for partisan attacks. The film was adapted from the novel of the same name written by James McBride, who also wrote the film's screenplay.

The following weapons were used in the film Miracle at St. Anna:

Machine Guns

Browning Mk II

A Browning Mk II is used by the 92nd Division in the opening battle. The choice of weapon is unusual; the Mk II was made exclusively for use by the Royal Air Force, and was chambered in .303 British, not a readily available caliber for the US Army. The Browning M1919A4 would be more accurate.
