Mandate (Mandat) is a Soviet 1964 (filmed 1963) historical adventure movie directed by Nikolay Lebedev. In 1919 Bolshevik Gleb Prokhorov leads a prodotryad ("food squad") that has a mission to collect grain in villages for starving Petrograd. Prokhorov is accompanied by his thirteen years old son, also named Gleb (diminutive name Glebka). But the unit is attacked by local gang. Dying Prokhorov passes his mandate, signed by Lenin, to his son.

Reichsrevolver M1879

Glebka Prokhorov (Boris Shcherbakov) carries a Reichsrevolver M1879, confiscates from bandit Grishka (Nikolay Kuzmin). This revolver, wiped nearly to white, appears to be the same prop, used in numerous Lenfilm productions, notably Priklucheniya Sherlocka Holmsa i doktora Vatsona.

Astra 900

Commissar Dubok (Mikhail Vasilyev) holds an Astra 900 pistol during the shootout with the gang (later his handgun switches to a Mauser C96). This pistol appears to be the same prop, seen in several other Lenfilm productions, including Nachalnik Chukotki, and Makar-sledopyt.
