Central Police Strategic Firearms Command officers carry the Glock 17 as their sidearm. Video footage of DI Matthew "Dot" Cottan (Craig Parkinson) gripping a stolen Glock 17 is seen in "Lying Nest". Superintendent Ted Hastings (Adrian Dunbar) later takes one from an injured AFO and uses it to dispatch a masked gunman in the 6th episode.
