Glock 17

NYPD officers all carry Glock 17 pistols as their sidearms in the film. The pistols change into airsoft replicas in non-firing scenes.

Sergeant Terrence Burke (Robert Wisdom) holds his Glock 17 at a perp. The Glocks in this scene are all non-firing replicas. Notice how you can see a smaller barrel inside the outer barrel. Real firearms do not have such inner barrels. It is clear that the Glock is an airsoft model.

Lurue (Forest Whitaker) purchases a nickel M1911A1 as a back-up to his back up gun, from a gun dealer. Malo (50 Cent) also takes a blued M1911A1. Neither of them are never seen using them in the film. A gangster also tries to pull an M1911A1 at a horse track.

Detective Lurue (Forest Whitaker) also takes a WinGun ASG Dan Wesson airsoft revolver as another back-up gun(!). The revolver is a CO2 powered BB gun, that fires 6mm plastic pellets. It is obviously meant to stand in for a real firearm.
