The following weapons were used in Season 2 of the television series Fortitude
Pistols Glock 17 Members of the Norwegian Police Service stationed in Fortitude continue to carry the Glock 17 as their service firearm. Sheriff Eric Odegard (Björn Hlynur Haraldsson ), Officer Petra Bergen (Alexandra Moen ) and Officer Ingrid Witry (Mia Jexen ) are seen carrying them throughout. Dan Anderssen (Richard Dormer ), the former Sheriff, also briefly uses one.
Note: Ordinary Norwegian police officers are usually not armed, but they have weapons in their patrol cars. The standard issue pistol for the Norwegian policemen is the Heckler & Koch P30 , while the special unit has access to Glocks. It can be assumed the reason the officers permanently carry their guns is due to the laws in Fortitude stating all citizens must be armed (in case of polar bear attacks).

Dr. Sarinda Khatri (Parminder Nagra ) later uses it to kill Spindoe (Lorraine Burroughs ) and herself by firing it inside a Schenthal Biotech helicopter.

Devlin (Paul Ready ), a mercenary employed by Schenthal Biotech, later uses it after shooting and disarming Michael in the season finale.

Rifles Karabiner 98k A Sami reindeer herder uses what appears to be a Karabiner 98k to shoot an infected Russian researcher in Vukobejina in 1942.
