For Whom the Bell Tolls

Enforcement is a 1943 movie directed by Sam Wood which is based on the novel of the same name by Ernest Hemingway, starring Gary Cooper and Ingrid Bergman. It tells the story of a guerrilla group on the side of the Republic in the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), which has received the order to blow up a strategically important bridge.

Colt M1917
High ranking Nationalists use Colt M1917 Revolvers most notably firing one at Robert Jordan (Gary Cooper) in the introduction. Robert Jordan also uses one to put a comrade out of his misery and carries it throughout the film.

Luger P08 Artillery
Pablo (Akim Tamiroff) executes Nationalist soldiers with a Luger P08 "Artillery" in a flashback.

At least one Loyalist and Nationalist soldier use the Webley Mk. VI.

Characters are seen with Krag-Jørgensen rifle.

Krag-Jørgensen Carbine
A Krag-Jørgensen Carbine is also used by Pablo (Akim Tamiroff). Pablo's wife Pilar (Katina Paxinou) can be seen with it as well.
Mauser Karabiner 98AZ
Loyalist and Nationalist soldiers can be seen with Mauser 98AZ Artillery Carbines. Most of them have the stacking hook removed.
Mauser Gewehr 1898
A Nationalist soldier uses a Mauser Gewehr 1898 during the attack on the bridge.
Machine Guns
Browning Automatic Rifle
The early version of the Browning Automatic Rifle is used by Nationalist patrolling the forest and one is taken by Robert Jordan (Gary Cooper). Robert refers to the magazines as "clips" showing that this mistake was prominent even back then.
Browning M1919A4
A Browning M1919A4 is seen mounted on a Nationalist tank. They are also presumably mounted on M1917 Six Ton Tanks. An odd choice considering WWII was going on at the time and all M1919A4s would have been in military use rather then loaned to movie armorers.
Lewis Gun
The Lewis Gun is used by Robert Jordan (Gary Cooper) to attack Nationalist soldiers. The aircraft version is used as coaxial machine guns for a Nationalist M1 Combat Car.
Explosives
Mk 2 Grenade
Mk 2 hand grenades are in the sack of grenades and are used by the Loyalist. Also an odd choice with WWII going on at the time and Mk 2 grenades were in service.

Model 16 Stielhandgranate
A Loyalist uses a Model 16 Stielhandgranate to fend off Nationalist troops. Robert Jordan (Gary Cooper) later uses them. Several stick grenades are also used by the Nationalists.
