Fit for Non-Combatant Duty (Goden k nestroevoy) is a Soviet 1968 B&W war comedy directed by Vladimir Rogovoy and Efraim Sevela. In 1943 17-years old, clumsy and short-sighted Vladimir Danilin volunteers for the service in Soviet Army. Being fit for non-combatant duty only, he is enlisted to a communications platoon as a driver of horse cart. When his horse is blown up by a mine, Danilin manages to get another one, and it turns out to be a trained circus horse.
