Falling Skies was a science fiction television series set sometime after an alien invasion has wiped out most of Earth's population and military forces. The series starred Noah Wyle as Tom Mason, a former college professor who along with his family become involved in the resistance movement consisting of soldiers and civilians that rose up against the occupying alien force. Co-executive produced by Steven Spielberg, the series premiered in the US in June of 2011 on the TNT Network and aired for five seasons until 2015.
