Escape from Mogadishu (Korean title: 모가디슈, Mogadisyu; lit. "Mogadishu") is a 2021 Korean action-drama film. The film, which is based on true events, takes place in 1991 at the height of the Somalian Civil War and the military coup d'état against the government of Somali general and president Mohamed Siad Barre, and follows a group of South and North Korean diplomats and their families as they attempt to hide and escape from the violence and anarchy-filled streets of the Somali capital, Mogadishu.
