Dolemite is a 1975 American blaxploitation crime film about pimp and a nightclub owner named Dolemite - played by Rudy Ray Moore , who also co-wrote the film and its soundtrack - who is serving 20 years in prison after being set up by a rival, Willie Green (D'Urville Martin ). One day, his friend and fellow pimp Queen Bee (Lady Reed) helps him get out of jail and plots with him to get revenge on Green.
