Dauria Dauriya ) is a Soviet 1972 (filmed 1971) two-part historical movie directed by Viktor Tregubovich and based on the novel by Konstantin Sedykh. This epic movie describes the life and fate of Cossacks in the Siberian province of Dauria in Summer 1914 (Part 1) and during the Russian Civil war, in 1918-1919 (Part 2). The story centers around the family of Ulybins.

Revolvers Nagant M1895 In Part 1, set in Summer 1914, a revolutionary Semyon Nagorny (Yuriy Solomin ) uses a Nagant M1895 revolver. In Part 2, set in 1918-1919, Nagants are widely used by Red partisans, White officers and Anarchists.

It is used by Anarchist Arkadiy (uncredited) during the assault of Chita treasury, by the manager of gold mine (uncredited), and by White Cossack Starshiy Uryadnik (Cossack NCO) Nikifor Chepalov (Viktor Pavlov ). This wiped to white revolver appears to be the same prop, used in numerous Lenfilm productions, like Priklucheniya Sherlocka Holmsa i doktora Vatsona

Mosin Nagant M1938 Carbine Anachronistic Mosin Nagant M1938 Carbines are most widely used guns in the movie. In Part 1 many Cossacks carry M38 Carbines, including village Ataman Yelisey Petrovich Kargin (Yefim Kopelyan ), his son Mit'ka Kargin (Boris Arakelov ), Roman Ulybin (Vitali Solomin ), Yepifan Kozulin (Fyodor Odinokov ), Platon Volokitin (Vsevolod Kuznetsov ), and Nikifor Chepalov (Viktor Pavlov ). In Part 2 M38 Carbines are used by Red Guards and Red partisans, and White Cossacks. Hooded front sights are removed on many of screen carbines, to make them look more like appropriate for 1910s guns.
