Beyond the Front Line is a 2004 war film directed by Åke Lindman. Finland 1942: The Finnish Army uses all available forces on the Eastern Front to stop the overpowering Red Army. Lieutenant Harry Järv commands the reconnaissance and combat squads of the 61th Infantry Regiment. He and his men continue to go behind the front lines to deliberately attack Russian forces. They are very successful, but the mental pressure for Järv's men is growing, not least because the Russians use snipers against them.
