Battle of Local Importance (Boi mestnogo znacheniya) is a 2008 Russian war movie directed by Aleksey Kozlov. In December 1943 a small unit of Soviet troops, headed by an inexperienced lieutenant, stays for rest in a village. But suddenly they have to encounter with elite Waffen SS soldiers.

Pvt. Sergei Voskoboynikov (Aleksey Zubkov) is armed with a PPSh-41.
MP38
Most SMGs seen in hands of German soldiers appear to be MP38s. During the battle Starshina (sergeant major) Pyotr Mokhov (Sergey Shekhovtsov) uses a captured MP38.
MP40
MP40s are also seen in hands of German soldiers.
Rifles
Mosin Nagant M1891/30
Pvts. Viktor Stryapukhin (Nikolay Dobrynin) and Aleksandr Tyrymov (Aleksandr Tyrymov) (yes, the character and the actor have the same name) are armed with Mosin Nagant M1891/30 rifles. In several scenes Lt. Andrey (Aleksey Bardukov) also is seen with an M91/30 rifle.
Mosin Nagant M1938 Carbine
Starshina Mokhov (Sergey Shekhovtsov) is armed with a Mosin Nagant M1938 carbine. This rifle is seen only briefly and is not used in action.
Mauser Karabiner 98k
Several German soldiers, including the interpreter Stange (Johan Bott), are armed with Karabiner 98k rifles.
Shotguns
Mosin Nagant/Frolov Shotgun
A bolt action gun that appears to be a Mosin Nagant/Frolov Shotgun is seen in Nikolai Schukin's house. It isn't used in action.
Machine Guns
MG42
In the opening scene Starshina Mokhov (Sergey Shekhovtsov) finds an abandoned MG42 on the place of recent battle. The machine gun isn't used in action.
ZB-26
The German unit is equipped with a ZB26 Machine Gun (German designation for this weapon was MG 26(t)). Viktor Stryapukhin (Nikolay Dobrynin) manages to capture it and uses in battle.
Hand Grenades
Model 24 Stielhandgranate
Most German soldiers carry Model 24 Stielhandgranates. Viktor Stryapukhin (Nikolay Dobrynin) uses a captured grenade during the battle.
