Anson Mount is an American actor who is well known for his role as Captain Christopher Pike in the Paramount+ streaming series Star Trek: Discovery and the subsequent series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. He also has appeared in the AMC series Hell on Wheels and as Black Bolt in the ABC Marvel series Inhumans, a role he reprised in the MCU feature film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. He also has had roles in such films as SEAL Team Six: The Raid On Osama Bin Laden, Safe, and Non-Stop.
