Across the Cemetery (Cherez kladbishche) is a Soviet 1965 (filmed 1964) B&W war drama directed by Viktor Turov. The plot is set in Autumn 1942 in Nazi-occupied Belorussia. A partisans unit is in dire need of explosives to make attacks on German military trains. Young Mikhas Pashkevich (Vladimir Martynov) is send to meet mechanic Bugreev who secretly store unexploded shells. Mikhas is accompanied by elderly Sazon Ivanovich Kulik who works for Germans by the secret task of partisans.
