This Made for Television movie was the true story of the black pilots who broke the color barrier in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II is a well-intentioned film highlighted by an excellent cast. The Tuskegee Airmen is the 1995 HBO World War II film that told the true story of the formation of the 332nd Fighter Group, the fighter/bomber squadron composed of the first African-American combat pilots in the U.S. Army Air Corps.
