The Pacing Mustang (Mustang-inokhodets) is a Soviet 1976 (filmed 1975) adventure family movie, directed by Igor Negrescu and based on the story by Ernest Thompson Seton. A black pacing mustang lives in prairies of New Mexico. It is highly prized, and local men relentlessly hunt for the horse. But when at last they manage to capture the mustang, it prefers death to captivity.
The following weapons were used in the film The Pacing Mustang (Mustang-inokhodets):
In several scenes Charley (Georgi Dvornikov), James Foster (Stasis Petronaitis) and Wild Jo (Mikhail Golubovich) carry unidentified Colt revolvers in holsters. It appears to be a single prop that is reused in several scenes. Since only the grips are visible, it is impossible to say exactly what kind of model it is.
Unknown S&W revolver
Fred Montgomery (Pavel Klyonov) carries a revolver in holster. Its grip resembles some models of Smith & Wesson but the exact model cannot be identified.
