The Smith & Wesson Model 25 was a .45 Long Colt or .45 ACP double-action revolver built on the Smith & Wesson N-frame. It was the target model of the [[Smith & Wesson Model 22]], formerly the Model of 1950. The .45 ACP version can be loaded with either half-moon or full-moon clips, or .45 Auto Rim.  It has been used as a stand in for the .44 Magnum Model 29 when that particular gun was unavailable.
