Screaming Steel: 1914-1918 is a WW1 mod for Day of Infamy. Its an updated version of the The Trenches and WW1 Source mods of Half-Life. The mod is set on the Western Front of World War I and includes 4 maps (Somme, Passchendaele, Nimy Bridge and Valenciennes). Playable factions are the British Commonwealth (with a British and Canadian squad) and the German Army (which includes the Imperial German Army and the Stosstrupp squad).

Handguns
Luger P08
The Luger P08 is the standard sidearm for all German classes. Appears as the "P08 Luger".
Luger P08 Artillery Model
The Luger P08 Artillery Model appears as the "Lange Pistole 08" and is a playable sidearm for the Fernmelder class.
Mauser C96
Some German classes can chose the Mauser C96 pistol and appears as the "C96 Mauser".
Webley MK VI
The Webley .455 Mk VI is the standard sidearm for the British Empire. It can be equipped with a speed loader and a lanyard.
Webley & Scott Mk I
The Webley & Scott Mk I can also be equipped by some British classes.
Rifles
Mauser Gewehr 1898
The Mauser Gewehr 1898 is the standard rifle for the German Empire. It can be equipped with a Seitengewehr 98/05 bayonet and stripper clips. The Karabingranate M 1914 is also available for the Schützen class. The Heckenschütze's G98 "Marksman" can be equipped with a Zeiss Glasvisier 16 scope.
Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III*
The Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III* appears as the "No. I SMLE" and is the standard rifle for the British Empire. It can be equipped with a Pattern 1907 sword bayonet, stripper clips, an Aldis M1916 scope for the Marksman class and No. 2 "Hale" rifle grenades.

Bergmann MP18
The Bergmann MP18 appears as "MP 18/I" and is available for the German Sturmmann class.
Shotguns
Browning Auto-5
The Browning Auto-5 is the counterpart to the MP18 for the British. Its only avaibale for the Assault class.
Machine Guns
Lewis Gun
The Lewis Gun is the standard light machine gun for the British. It can be equipped with a 97-round magazine, which incorrectly has the same model of the 47-round magazine.
Maxim MG 08/15
The standard German machine gun is the Maxim MG08/15.
Flamethrowers
Wechselapparat M1917
German Stahlrohrführer class can use the Wechselapparat M1917 Flamethrower. While you're running you can hear the fire oil tank.
Hand Grenades
Handnebelbombe
The Handnebelbombe smoke grenade is available for the Offizier class.
Model 15 Diskushandgranate
The Model 15 Diskushandgranate is an avaible grenade for the German Empire.
Model 16 Stielhandgranate
The Model 16 Stielhandgranate appears as the "Stiehandgranate" and is the standard grenade for the all-German classes. A Geballte Ladung is also avaibale to the Fernmelder class.
Mills Bomb
The standard grenade for the BEF is the Mills Bomb.
No. 12 "Hairbrush" Grenade
The No. 12 "Hairbrush" Grenade is available for the British. It takes the part of the Geballte Ladung with its massive explosion.
No. 27 Smoke Grenade
The No. 27 Smoke Grenade is used by the British.
No. 27 Mk. I Chemical Incendiary Grenade
The No.27 Mk. I Chemical Incendiary Grenade is used by the British.

A Ordnance QF 18 Pounder field gun is seen on the map "Somme".
