About Me

Love guns. Period. I'm mostly into pistols, and my favorite pistols vary from time to time (usually whichever pistol was used by a character in a movie I just watched).

I guess I'll mention that I live in Nevada, a state that has extremely light gun laws, which is awesome!

When I watched Heat for the first time, I was curious as to what rifle Al Pacino used in the infamous Downtown shootout. I googled it, I came across this website, and I've been here ever since. I've certainly learned a lot about firearms since joining IMFDB and I'm really glad I found it!

Guns I've Held

I will be honest: I know a lot about guns, but I've actually never fired one. :(. I plan on doing some shooting sometime soon, however. Anyway, these are a list of guns that I've held (none of these have had ammunition in them at the time which I've held them). The 16 gauge shotgun is my father's, while all of the others belong to my uncle (a big history buff, which is why he collects older guns, as well as many other historical items).

Walther P38 - 9x19mm. When I held this gun, I field-stripped it and then re-assembled it right on the spot. My first time field-stripping a weapon.

Favorite Pistols

Beretta 92FS

One of the oldest pistols, meaning it's design still proves popular today. The Browning Hi-Power, like the Beretta, is another gun with a history of great performance.

Para-Ordnance P-14

M1911s have been around for almost 100 years, and it's reputation speaks for itself. While most of the guns I like above are 9mm, .45s are also great to have in addition if you're in need of something heavier. The Para-Ordnance P-14 takes all the great features of a 1911 and doubles the magazine capacity.

Beretta Cheetah

They say that the smallest defensive caliber that should be carried is .380 ACP. The Beretta Cheetah proves that you can still do well in a combat situations with 13 rounds of .380 ACP, making it an ideal backup weapon.

Colt Python

The Colt Python has built up a reputation as being the "Rolls Royce" of revolvers. With it's powerful .357 Magnum cartridge and its history of reliability, you can't go wrong with this gun.

Smith & Wesson Model 686P

Although most revolvers hold 6 rounds, a 7th round is a great new innovation. The Smith & Wesson Model 686P carries the great performance of any .357 Magnum S&W, but with one extra round, which is a great addition in a combat situation.
