Blind Fury is a 1989 martial arts action film starring Rutger Hauer as Nick Parker, a US soldier who is blinded while fighting the war in Vietnam and subsequently is taken in by local villagers, who teach him the ways of the sword. Upon returning to the States, he finds himself taking care of the son of his Vietnam buddy as they go on the run from criminals. The film was directed by Phillip Noyce, who went on to direct Clear and Present Danger and Salt.
The following weapons were used in the film Blind Fury:
A Smith & Wesson Model 686 .357 Magnum revolver with a 4" barrel is the main firearm carried by Lyle Pike (Nick Cassavetes) Another Model 686 with a 8" barrel is seen in the shootout at the mountaintop resort.
Slag is seen holding an Ithaca 37 police special variant with a sawed off stock when confronting Nick at the beginning of the film. Another Ithaca 37, a long-barreled field variant, is seen used by one of the thugs shooting up the skytram.
During the flashback to his tour in Vietnam, Nick is seen carrying an M16A1 rifle. Nick's friend Frank Devereaux (Terry O'Quinn) also seen with an M16A1.
