Jamie Foxx is an American actor who began his career on the FOX television sketch comedy series ''In Living Color''.  He subsequently appeared in such films as ''[[The Kingdom]]'', ''[[Jarhead]]'', ''[[Miami Vice (2006)]]'', ''[[Django Unchained]]'', ''[[White House Down]]'' and ''Ray'', a feature for which he would subsequently receive the Academy Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of the blind musician [[Ray Charles]]. In the same year he won for ''Ray'', Foxx was also nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the film ''[[Collateral]]''.
