Cujo is the 1983 feature film adaptation of the Stephen King novel of the same name. The film stars Dee Wallace as a single mother who finds herself and her son in danger when they come under attack from a St. Bernard named "Cujo", that has become crazed after being bitten by a rabid bat.

Trivia

  • George Bannerman is seen in many Stephen King works that take place in fictional Castle Rock, Maine, including Cujo. The character also appeared in the film version of The Dead Zone, portrayed by Tom Skerritt. There he carried a .357 Magnum Smith & Wesson Model 28 "Highway Patrolman" revolver. In Cujo, the character is portrayed by Sandy Ward and carries a Smith & Wesson Model 64.
