Winchester Model 59 Shotgun - 12 gauge. Not to be confused with the Winchester Model 59 Rifle chambered in .22 LR

Sporting 12 gauge autoloaders (other than the really famous ones like the Browning Auto-5, etc.) rarely appear in films or television shows. Most sportsmen are depicted with either pump or breach load single or double barreled shotguns. However, they do appear on that rare occasion. Most of the semiautomatic shotguns depicted in cinema today are usually combat or tactical models.

This page is a holding place for either examples of Sporting Semiautomatic shotguns (in armorer inventory) for identifications purposes in films, television, anime or Videogames. This page is for all variants that do not have their own gun pages.

"This is a work in progress: I am putting all semiautomatic sporting shotguns from various movie armories here ... they've been used in something I know, but we should have a place to put pics of these types so that IMFDB users can use them to identify them in movies and TV shows." MPM2008
