Shadows of a Hot Summer (Stíny horkého léta) is 1978 Czechoslovakian adventure drama directed by Frantisek Vlácil. Story of farmer´s family in secluded solitude high in the Beskids, which are hostage of a group of UPA terrorists. Starring Juraj Kukura and Marta Vancurová.

White-haired (Jirí Bartoska) and bald terrorist (Augustín Kubán) are armed with a MP38 submachine guns and Walther P38 pistol.

One (Karel Chromík) of the UPA members, the former German lieutenant, carries a MP40 and also Luger P08 pistol.
PPS-43
The oldest (Zdenek Kutil) member of the UPA commando, is equipped with a PPS-43 submachine gun.
