Don't Be Afraid, I Am Here For You (Russian title Ne boysya, ya s toboy, Azerbaijani title Qorxma, mən səninləyəm) is a 1981 Soviet Azerbaijani adventure musical comedy, directed by Yuliy Gusman. The film is set in late 19th century in Transcaucasian region of Russian Empire (modern Azerbaijan). Two circus actors, trick rider Rustam and martial artist San Sanych, visit Rustam's native village where they befriend with a young singer Teimur. Teimur is in love with Telly, daughter of local oil magnate Farzally-beg who opposes such marriage. Two friends decide to help Teimur; meanwhile Farzally-beg hires a brigand Jaffar and his gang against Rustam who appears to be the owner of the land where oil could be found.
The following weapons were used in the film Don't Be Afraid, I Am Here For You (Ne boysya, ya s toboy):
Nagant M1895 revolvers are most widely seen handguns. In the opening scene Rustam (Mukhtar-bek Kantemirov) fires a Nagant during the circus performance. Later Teimur (Polad Bülbüloghlu) holds a Nagant when Farzally-beg deceives him about Rustam. Nagants are also widely used by Jaffar (Hasan Turabov) and his gang. All revolvers are of post-1930 version.
One of Farzally-beg's servants carries a Mauser C96 "Bolo" in wooden holster.
Flintlock pistol
A pair of Caucasian style flintlock pistols is seen in Farzally-beg's house as a decoration.
Rifles & Muskets
Mosin Nagant M1938 Carbine
Jaffar's brigands and Farzally-beg's servants widely use anachronistic Mosin Nagant M1938 Carbines. Some of them have a non-standard number and location of metal mounts, as well as the lack of front ends of the forearm, which apparently is a consequence of the repair.
Mosin Nagant M1891/30
Mosin Nagant M1891/30 rifles, standing for original M1891s, are used by Russian police and prison guards.
