Young Eagles (Noored kotkad ) is the 1927 Estonian silent war comedy. The story takes place during the Estonian War of Independence (1918-1920). Three young men volunteered for the army. The first one was the student rich Tammekänd (Arnold Vaino), the second one was a smith Laansoo (Juhan Nõmmik), the last one was a poor farmer Lepik (Ruut Tarmo). Nevertheless, they become a very close friends and fought together till Estonian victory. This film is one of very few (if even not the only) survived Estonian silent movies.
PS Due the bad conservation of the cine-film, several scenes was damaged, so screenshots may be different aspect ratio.

Note the rear tangent sight; in something of a display of wishful thinking, the C96's sight is adjustable for ranges up to 1000 meters. Later examples had a sight adjustable to a still unrealistic 500 meters. C96 pistols with fixed rear sights are very rare.
